Farwell Independent School District
School district in Texas
Farwell Independent School District is a public school district based in Farwell, Texas (USA).
Located in Parmer County,[1] a small portion of the district extends into Bailey County.[2]
In tribute to the school district's (and city's) namesake, the owners of the XIT Ranch, the school mascot is the steer.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[3]
