Nanare Hananare (菜なれ花なれ, lit. "Be a Vegetable, Be a Flower") is an upcoming original Japanese anime television series produced by DMM.com and animated by P.A. Works, set in Takasaki, Maebashi and Numata, Gunma.[3] The series is written and directed by Kōdai Kakimoto, features original character designs by Takada Tomomi which were adapted into anime designs by Kanami Sekiguchi, and features a script by Kakimoto, Yuniko Ayana, and Midori Gotō.[1][4] It is set to premiere in July 2024.[5]

Production and release
On November 9, 2023, DMM.com and P.A. Works announced they were producing an original anime television series titled Nanare Hananare,[1] which is scheduled to premiere in July 2024 on TV Tokyo.[5] An advance screening of the first three episodes was held on March 17, 2024 at Takasaki Denkikan, Takasaki.[2]
The opening theme song is "Cheer for you!", while the ending theme song is "with", both performed by PoMPoMs (Rika Nakagawa, Yuki Nakashima, Larissa Tago Takeda, Manaka Iwami, Moe Kahara, Miku Itō).[7]
