Popowice [pɔpɔˈvʲit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stary Sącz, within Nowy Sącz County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Stary Sącz, 10 km (6 mi) south of Nowy Sącz, and 78 km (48 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.[1]

The village has an approximate population of 500.
