The Xiongnu language is the presumed language of the Xiongnu, a confederation of nomads which existed from the 3rd century BC to the 1st century AD.
Classification
The origin of the Xiongnu language and people is a subject of debate and controversy, lacking in academic consensus. At present, Xiongnu is an considered an unclassifiable language[1] or a isolate,[2] unrelated to any other known language.
