Mesangiospermae (gerçek anjiyospermler), gayri resmi olarak "mezanjiyospermler" olarak adlandırılan bir çiçekli bitki grubudur. İki ana kapalı tohumlular sınıfından biridir. Filogenetik isimlendirme PhyloCode sisteminin kuralları altında oluşturulmuş bir isimdir.[2] Yaklaşık 350.000 mezanjiyosperm türü vardır.[3] Bu grupta olmayan yaklaşık 175 tür[4] ve toplam yaklaşık 350.000 tür olduğu varsayılırsa mezanjiyospermler çiçekli bitkilerin yaklaşık %99,95'ini içerir.[3] Diğer 175 tür ilkel kapalı tohumlular grubu içinde sınıflandırılır. APG III sisteminde de benzer sınırlamalara sahip böyle bir sınıf var olmasına rağmen, ona bir isim verilmemiştir.[5]
