Abu Nageh (Persian: ابوناگه)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Soveyseh Rural District of Soveyseh District, Karun County, Khuzestan province, Iran, and also serves as the capital of the district.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 850 in 168 households, when it was in the Central District of Ahvaz County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 624 people in 157 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,450 people in 399 households,[2] by which time the rural district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Karun County.[4]
